Carbogno Architects were appointed to deliver the change of use scheme that had been granted permission in 2014. The proposal consisted in the change of use of two buildings from hotel to six plus six high-end residential units including the formation of roof and rear extensions. As part of the project the rear of the site was developed as a new-build mews house on five levels including basement, lower ground, and three levels above ground.

We were heavily involved in the detail, coordination and interior design of the units. Extensive negotiation with Westminster City Council took place at the outset of the project to maximise and improve the design. This included the submission of several planning application to formalise the revised design proposal.
