Founded in 2014 by Andrea Carbogno and Sophia Ceneda, our expertise covers low energy high-end design and architecture, space design efficiency and evidence-based research. We listen and observe carefully to identify opportunities for space use and space quality whilst applying our creative skills to find the best solutions to match our client's requirements.
At Carbogno Architects, we believe good architecture draws from understanding context, prioritizing quality, and embracing sustainability. Our designs are a thoughtful interplay between site constraints, client needs, and environmental considerations. We create spaces that are efficient, functional and connected to their surroundings.
Places, Spaces, Forms.
We take clues for our design from all aspects of our environment, built or natural, urban scale to vernacular and art, present or past. Examples of places, spaces and details observed in our journeys that never cease to inspire us.
Design.
Our practice is founded on the principle that good design transforms lives and communities. From private residences to public buildings, we approach each project with equal dedication and creativity. We view architecture as a catalyst for positive change, enhancing how people live, work, and interact with their environment.

Services.
We offer a broad range of services (RIBA stages 0-6) from initial site appraisals and feasibility studies, concept design through to full architectural, interior, planning and environmental design to suit our clients' needs and requirements. With an extensive background in qualitative and quantitative research our expertise covers post-occupation evaluations.
We have a depth of experience working on contemporary high quality projects as well as listed buildings in conservation areas across a range of project types.
We are keen to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals to ensure the best outcome whilst keeping our minds open to new ways of thinking around the use of space.
