The proposal was for the formation of three commercial units at ground floor and basement and 19 residential units with internal landscaped courtyard between levels one and four. The project comprised the demolition of the old ice cream shop and partial demolition of the mix-use building at the rear, allowing for historical facade retention on Crogsland Road.

This difficult site located near Camden town is adjacent to a listed hotel therefore presented some important planning challenges. Carbogno Architect were employed by the main contractor to assist with RIBA stage 5 during the construction of the building. Part of the task was to resolved several outstanding planning issues including the submission of a complex S73 application to formally gain consent for some as built conditions previously implemented by the previous developers and to discharge all related conditions.
